Whilst we always say farewell with a bit of sadness, everyone at Cacela Dog Haven celebrates when a dog is adopted..... it's always our prime motivation to ensure that each and every dog is adopted by a 5* family and the emotional and behavioural matching is taken very seriously.  We are encouraging of those families who'd like a trial period before adoption is finalised.... it's so important to us that the new family is a great fit!

Once the adoption has been processed and our precious resident has gone off with the new family, we're always so happy to stay in touch with the family, encouraging them to send us photos!  As time goes on, it's just wonderful to see how our rescues are enjoying their lives..... receiving these photos and updates is the cherry on the top of trying to find homes for them. ​​​​​​
