PAWS Charity Shop, Cabanas de Tavira.....

On 18 April 2023, Cacela Dog Haven opened the PAWS Charity Shop in an easily accessible, residential area in Cabanas.... this was the start of an endeavour that enabled us to continue with and expand the work we do to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome dogs in our part of the eastern Algarve.  Please click on the link to see photos of the stock we have in the store........ Cacela Dog Haven Charity Shop Photos.

The shop deals mostly with clothing, shoes, linen, sporting goods, bric-a-brac, CDs, DVDs, books, etc.  Primarily, we used the shop for all donations (including furniture), but we quickly realised that we'd need more space!  Donations have poured through our doors..... the generosity and kindness of people is amazing!  They just desperately want to ensure that their pre-loved items are used  to help people who could not afford retail shopping, whilst raising funds to alleviate the suffering of dogs in our area.

PAWS Charity Shop, Vila Nova de Cacela.....

To accommodate the furniture that we were fortunate enough to receive, we took on another shop in Conceição for a few months and then moved to Vila Nova Cacela in April 2025, creating PAWS.... too!
