CDH is fortunate to have the services of Romy.... aka "Bob the Builder" fully equipped with a pink drill and all!

Romy hails from Germany and is passionate about animals.  She helps at the haven with general volunteering and is always up for all kinds of DIY projects..... our Romy finds nothing too daunting!

​

This project was close to her heart.... she spends quite a bit of her time with the Haven's cats.  The cats are housed in their own room in the unit, but Romy extended the area by building a little garden shed on the outside, accessed through a window.  The cats move freely between their room in the unit and the outside area.... where they all love to watch the world go by.  

​

Romy has also been busy building her own doggy family...... her daughter adopted ROSINHA (Aug 23) and Romy  herself, has adopted KIERA (Oct 24) and ALVA (Jan 26)!  On top of all that, Romy also organised the adoption of LEXY (April 24) by a friend and then arrived with a new floor for the nursery unit!
